As Turkey’s first institution dedicated to art and architecture, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSGSÜ) has been shaping generations of artists, designers, and architects with its deep-rooted history and modern academic vision.

At Basework, we developed a component-based, flexible, and high-performance website built on WordPress CMS, designed to strengthen the university’s digital presence and make its rich academic structure more accessible to students, faculty, and visitors.

Our goal was to create a platform that presents the university’s complex structure — faculties, departments, institutes, announcements, and events — in a clear and intuitive way. To achieve this, we implemented a modular content architecture that enables users to easily navigate and access information while allowing the university team to manage content independently.

Each section of the site was built with reusable components, giving MSGSÜ full flexibility to create new pages, update content, and maintain consistency across the entire platform. This approach ensures scalability and long-term sustainability, allowing the website to grow alongside the institution’s evolving needs.

On the front-end, we created a design system that balances clarity and tradition — reflecting MSGSÜ’s academic identity through simplicity and structure. With a strong focus on performance and accessibility, the site provides a seamless experience for all audiences, whether on desktop or mobile.

To further enhance discoverability and usability, we optimized the platform for SEO and Core Web Vitals, achieving fast load times and improved visibility. Custom content modules were developed for announcements, news, and events, enabling the university to share updates dynamically with its community.

The result is a modern, modular, and accessible digital platform that embodies Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University’s heritage, creativity, and educational excellence.
