TİKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) is the official body responsible for organizing and implementing Türkiye’s international development assistance through its offices across the world. Operating in more than 150 countries, TİKA plays a vital role in sustainable development, education, healthcare, and cultural heritage projects that create lasting global impact.

At Basework, we developed a multilingual, accessible, and high-performance website that enables TİKA to share its global activities, projects, and news with clarity and transparency.

Our main goal was to design a platform that reflects TİKA’s international scope while remaining simple, structured, and user-oriented. Built on a modular WordPress CMS architecture, the website allows TİKA’s editorial team to easily manage country profiles, project pages, and announcements. Each content block was designed as a reusable module, providing flexibility and scalability for future expansion.

To support TİKA’s global communication efforts, the website features multilingual functionality, making content accessible in Turkish, English, and additional regional languages. This multi-language system enhances international visibility and ensures that TİKA’s initiatives reach audiences around the world.

On the front-end, we focused on accessibility (a11y) and inclusivity, developing a clean and intuitive design system that prioritizes readability and ease of navigation. Visual hierarchy, contrast ratios, and media structure were optimized to meet international accessibility standards.

Performance was also a major priority. Through advanced optimization techniques aligned with Core Web Vitals, we achieved fast loading times, efficient caching, and smooth user interaction across all devices. These improvements ensure that the website remains reliable and responsive for a global audience.
