Located on the historic shores of Istanbul, Beykoz Kundura is a unique cultural venue where the city’s industrial heritage meets contemporary art. Hosting a wide range of events — from film screenings and concerts to exhibitions and workshops — Beykoz Kundura needed a digital platform capable of reflecting its rich legacy while guiding visitors through its dynamic cultural calendar.

At Basework, we developed a high-performance, user-friendly, and scalable website that brings the spirit of Beykoz Kundura into the digital realm. Our goal was to design and build a system that allows visitors to easily discover events, access ticket information, and explore the venue’s historical story in an engaging and intuitive way.

To achieve this, we implemented a modular WordPress CMS architecture, enabling the Beykoz Kundura team to manage all content — including events, films, exhibitions, and news — from a single, centralized dashboard. This modular system allows new pages and sections to be added effortlessly, providing long-term flexibility and maintainability.

Each component — such as event cards, image galleries, program listings, and ticket links — was designed for reusability, ensuring a consistent and cohesive experience throughout the website. Despite its visually rich content, the platform performs at high speed thanks to careful optimization of assets and data flow.

Built with SEO and accessibility in mind, the website delivers a smooth experience across all devices, helping visitors quickly access what they’re looking for while discovering the depth of Beykoz Kundura’s cultural world.

Today, the Beykoz Kundura website serves not just as an information hub but as a digital extension of the venue’s atmosphere, allowing users to immerse themselves in its stories, history, and creativity.
