Studio These Days is an independent design and photography studio based in Istanbul, known for creating powerful and visually striking concepts that bridge art, fashion, and culture.

At Basework, we collaborated with the Studio These Days team to design and develop a new interactive, accessible, and high-performance website that reflects their creative vision and refined aesthetic.

The new digital experience emphasizes the studio’s visual storytelling and minimalist design philosophy. Our goal was to create a platform that balances simplicity and impact — allowing imagery, texture, and rhythm to take center stage.

Built with a modular front-end architecture, the system enables the Studio These Days team to easily update projects, collections, and collaborations while maintaining consistency in layout and flow. This structure ensures long-term scalability and provides complete flexibility for content management.

On the front-end, we focused on performance and emotion — combining smooth transitions, responsive behavior, and lightweight micro-animations to create a seamless browsing experience across all devices. Optimized media handling and clean code implementation allowed the website to achieve top Core Web Vitals scores, ensuring both speed and visual fidelity.

Every detail — from typography to motion — was crafted to reflect the studio’s artistic rhythm, turning the website into more than just a portfolio: it’s an immersive space that captures the essence of their creative practice.

The project was also recognized by GMK (Turkish Society of Graphic Designers), earning an award for its elegant design and digital execution. This recognition highlights the harmony between Studio These Days’ creative direction and Basework’s technical precision.
